An established New Zealand artist, Linda Hannan is self taught and has painted professionally for over 15 years.
Originally from Auckland, Linda has lived in the beautiful Tasman district for over 30 years. Living off grid on a block of native beech forest near Motueka and on the doorstep of the stunning Abel Tasman National Park, her environment has been a huge source of inspiration for her artistic development.
Using oils on canvas she paints an eclectic range of contemporary realism and stylized artworks focusing on New Zealand’s naturel environment, of which she is passionate.
In 2019 Linda saw an opportunity to establish her own gallery in Motueka. Hannan Gallery is her public working studio. A boutique gallery showcasing a variety of her original artworks prints and cards, it is in the arcade at 265 High Street, Motueka, opposite Arcadia Café.
Linda has exhibited nationally at various exhibitions for over 10 years, including The NZ art Show - Wellington. The Christchurch Art Show, Dunedin, Nelson and coming soon The Auckland Art Show. Her works have found their way to private and corporate collections worldwide.
